Men's Olympic Soccer Group Stage Pool
The Men's Olympic Soccer Group Stage pool is a new free pick'em pool. Pick the winner of each of the 24 matches. The USA men's soccer team has qualified for the Olympics for the first time since 2008. Here's more info about Olympic soccer.
The pool starts Wednesday 7/24 and ends Tuesday 7/30. 16 countries compete in the group stage with the top 8 teams advancing to the Knockout Stage bracket. You can start by picking some of the beginning games and we'll remind you when it's time to pick more.
Basic scoring: you get 10 points if your pick wins and 4 points if your pick draws. This generally corresponds to the actual points awarded to group stage teams competing to advance to the knockout stage, which is 3 points for a win and 1 point for a draw.
When the Underdog option is used, points will vary from this scheme to balance the value of each pick. Underdogs get more points and favorites less points. Underdogs and favorites points are based on each match's moneyline.
We also offer the Men's Olympic Soccer Knockout Stage pool as a separate pool. If you play both pools, you're points for both pools can be combined. Group Stage leagues and league players' points can be carried over to continue league play in the Knockout Stage pool.
All our pools feature easy league hosting setup for the commish and exceptional league scoring options to customize the pool to your preference.
